I've been wearing a lot of BLUE lately. I'm a huge fan of jewel tones especially royal blue this season. My style is constantly changing but I didn't see this new blue phase coming! I've always been a pink kind of girl.  But don't worry my friends, I see lots of red and pink in the near future (in February)!

Work Wednesday: Last Minute

When I'm in a rush, I tend to reach for my scarf and flats. Today was one of those days. I try to plan my outfits the night before but sometimes everything doesn't go as planned. This month, I've done a lot of spur of the moment things. From a spontaneous night out with my girlfriend to last minute college basketball game, who knew last minute decisions could turn out so well!

Work Wednesday: Winter Blues

Today, I gave in. I'm wearing a winter coat. You probably think I'm crazy for going without one for so long. However, I have no need for one when I'm working in a warm office all day. I guess you could say that wearing a winter coat means I am finally accepting that it is winter.

Around this time, I want to go into hibernation mode. I always like the idea of staying in and relaxing but let's be real it doesn't happen very often. I like to keep busy. After coming down with a cold, I stayed home sick these past few days. But even after a few days off, I was itching to get back to work. Don't get me wrong, it was nice staying at home and relaxing. I think I really needed some time for myself. But I needed to go to the office today.

Winter is a challenging season for me. I'm constantly torn between two things: winter's call to slow down and relax and my need to be on the move and stay busy. Maybe this winter I'll give in and actually hibernate for a change. I always wanted to be a bear.

Today, Old Navy gets a lot of credit for my outfit. Yes, I frequently shop at Old Navy and I'm proud of it! If you haven't set foot in the store lately, I challenge you to do so. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and find a few jems. Old Navy has the latest trends with great prices. Many of which have become staples in my wardrobe. Lastly, Old Navy always has a sale going on which I love! I can never pass up a good deal. This is my little fashion secret but feel free to share. Work Wednesday: Back in Black

As you might have noticed, I went on a little break. I wasn't planning on being gone for so long but it just happened. I apologize but now I'm back in black!

This morning, I surprisingly went to work without a winter coat and I didn't freeze to death! Seattle weather is getting colder and colder each day. I'm still in denial that it is winter and that I need to wear a coat, scarf and gloves now. But rumor has it that Frosty the Snowman is coming to town which means I can't leave the house without a coat anymore.
