A Kid At Heart

 

 

 

 

Sometimes, adult life is too stressful that I just want to be a kid again. Being an adult has its perks, but there's some things I miss about being a kid. When I was a kid, my childhood consisted of arcade games and amusement rides. I was the queen of the arcade and spent too much money on games and tickets. Those were the days. Going on the carousel took me back to my childhood and brought back some good memories. There's times to act like an adult and there's times to act like a kid. Last Sunday was definitely a time to act like a kid again.

Dear Seattle

 

 

 

 

I've been doing a lot of Seattle things lately. Last week, I ate dinner in downtown, did a photo shoot on the pier and went to the Seahawks NFL playoff game. You can't get more Seattle than that! I love being in the city. Now that I no longer work in Seattle, I miss it. After spending so much time here, I'm falling in love with Seattle all over again. You can call me crazy but I decided to write a little love letter to my dear city. So here it goes: 

 

Dear Seattle,

 

I really missed you. I used to see you everyday but now we've grown apart. If you haven't noticed, I've been visiting you a lot. It's really hard to be apart. Bellevue is nice and all but my heart belongs to you. I don't know what it is but you light up my life. Every time we are together, you make me smile. There's never a dull moment with you. I'm so lucky to have you in my life. You are so beautiful in the morning, in the afternoon and at night. Rain or shine. I love you and I can't wait to see you soon.

 

P.s. Awesome football game on Saturday. You are quite the athlete :)

All That Glitters

 

 

 

 

It's a new year and I'm back. After some much needed down time after the holidays, I am finally rested, refreshed and ready to get back to blogging. Thank you friends for being so patient and understanding. I wasn't ready to juggle so many things in December and unfortunately I didn't have much time to blog.

 

Right now, it's still feels like 2013 and I'm getting ready for the new year. I am still obsessed with anything that glitters and I am not ready to say goodbye to my collection of sparkly things. For this month, I thought it would be fun and challenging to wearing pieces that sparkle (and pretend like it's New Year Eve every day).
