Life is Peachy

So far, my summer hasn't gone as planned - but honestly I'm ok with it. My summer plans were simple - to plan less and relax more. It went well earlier in the month. I had so much free time and did a lot of spontaneous things!

However by the end of the July, my plans changed and I went back to being a busy bee. I found out that my best friend got into nursing school and unexpectedly needed to move on the 23rd. We spent as much time as possible together before she left. I'm looking forward to visiting her but honestly it's really hard to imagine life without her in Seattle.

This is just one of the many things that's on my mind right now. Life has thrown some curve balls at me. But nonetheless, life is peachy and I'm going to keep on smiling.

Stop and Smell the Roses

Summer is the perfect time to stop and smell the roses. I've had a pretty crazy year so far and this summer I'm going to take a little break from my busy schedule. I hope to plan less and relax more (and maybe even blog once a week!) Cheers to a new season and a new way of living :)

Summer Sandals

Weekend getaways are my new favorite thing especially when it involves warm weather and spending time with my boyfriend. Whenever I come down to visit, my boyfriend likes to take me to place that I've never been to. This time, we visited Newport Beach in Orange County, California!

We walked around the cute beach town peaking into all of the small restaurants and shops. Once we reached the beach, I realized one thing - I wore the most difficult shoes to take off! Of course, my boy was totally prepared and I wasn't. He kicked off his rainbow slippers in a second and I took what seemed like forever to unbuckle my sandals. My boyfriend was giving me the hardest time and complaining that I was taking too long (what else is new haha?!). Let's just say, I won't be wearing my buckle sandals to the beach next time.
