White Out

Summer is almost over and there is one trend I haven't worn: all-white. I wanted to wear it earlier but there was one problem. I am very clumsy. I held back trying this trend because I was 99% sure I would spill on my outfit if I wore all white. But for some reason, I recently decided that I was up for the challenge. Surprisingly, after a day in all-white I didn't spill a thing! I'm not going to lie though - I may or may not worn a bib napkin during my meals and ordered light-colored foods. But I still call it a victory!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me sporting the white nails trend too. At first, it was really hard for me to branch out from my normal red and pink nail polish but I'm happy I tried it. It's actually my new favorite nail color for the summer (and I'm going to wear it as long as possible).

White is very versatile, flatters all skin tones, and enhances your tan.
Would you wear all-white clothing or nail polish?

Keep It Simple

I'm not only trying to simplify my life but I'm also trying to simplify my style. Lately, my style has been real simple and easy. Sometimes I like to go out with no jewelry, no purse and on occasion no phone. It might sound crazy but it's doable. And yes, I don't mind carry the few things that I need in my hand. I don't do it everyday but when I do - it's freeing.

Have you tried simplifying your style?

Life is Peachy

So far, my summer hasn't gone as planned - but honestly I'm ok with it. My summer plans were simple - to plan less and relax more. It went well earlier in the month. I had so much free time and did a lot of spontaneous things!

However by the end of the July, my plans changed and I went back to being a busy bee. I found out that my best friend got into nursing school and unexpectedly needed to move on the 23rd. We spent as much time as possible together before she left. I'm looking forward to visiting her but honestly it's really hard to imagine life without her in Seattle.

This is just one of the many things that's on my mind right now. Life has thrown some curve balls at me. But nonetheless, life is peachy and I'm going to keep on smiling.
