Work Wednesday: So Long February

 

It's the last day of February which means I'm in my last days of rest. It's been relaxing these past couple months but I think I'm ready to come out of hibernation! I'm well rested and ready to experience everything that comes with the Spring season: bright colors, pretty flowers, warmer days. There's a lot to look forward to next month and I'm excited for it all.

Right now, I'm preparing for my trip down to Southern California. More to come next week!

Work Wednesday: Still in Love





If you haven't noticed already, I tried wearing lots of red & pink this month. Why? Because I like the idea of being festive and celebrating Valentine's Day for the entire month and not just for one day.

Although some of you may disagree, I love celebrating Valentine's Day! Not because I can celebrate it with my boyfriend but because I get to celebrate it with the people I love. This year, I wanted to make sure my girlfriends knew they were loved. I had so much fun making handmade cards and buying flowers. The best part was delivering it to them.

I know it might sound silly and I am aware that it isn't Valentine's Day anymore but... I still want to celebrate it for the rest of the month. I love everything about this lovely holiday and I don't want it to be over. I guess you could say I'm still in love with Valentine's Day!

Work Wednesday: Preppy Days

Since Valentine's Day is tomorrow, I thought I'd share some things I am currently loving right now.

I am in love with:
Blogging - Although I'm not a strong writer, I really enjoy writing at least once a week. I'm still an amateur but I think I've grown a lot since I started in October. Besides having major writer's block, I look forward to blogging. I'm constantly thinking about what I'm going to blog about next. It's my new passion!

J.Crew - I am in love with this store. Even though their clothes are too expensive for my budget, I love walking around and admiring all the beautiful clothing and jewelry. J.Crew gives me inspiration for my style especially for today's outfit. One day when I'm older (and I can afford J.Crew), I will shop my little heart out! But for now, I'm happy buying items on the sale rack.

Tea cups - I'm not sure how this new love started but I adore pretty tea cups! I adore them so much that I decided to start collecting them. I only have a few right now but my collection is slowly growing. Pretty soon you can call me Alice in Wonderland :)

P.s. Excuse the wrinkles in the sweater. I guess that's what I get for buying a cheap sweater. And for the record, my shirt is light pink. Sadly, these pictures don't do it justice.

Work Wednesday: Pink February

"On Wednesdays, we wear pink". Yes, I referred to Mean Girls and yes, I love pink. At the beginning of February, I may or may not have decided to wear as much pink as possible this month :)

On another note, I'm really into thrift shopping right now. I could spend hours at Goodwill walking through every aisle and going through every hanger. My latest bargain I've found... my new pink purse for $5 from Crossroads. What a deal!
